And it has come to pass that the responsibility of leadership be handed over to the next generation as the J2s prepare to run the gauntlet of exams and more exams.
May the torch that is HCCO continue to burn brightly under the helm of her new EXCO.
The New EXCO for 2004
The passing over ceremony was conducted at night, with short speeches and a gift exchange after which it was photo-taking time. All havoc broke loose during this time as the new President and a few others were given a ritual blessing of water.
And so ends another chapter in the history of HCCO as well as the beginning of a brand new page in the life story of HCCO. It will be a brave new world, but I am sure that HCCO will scale greater heights and continue to burn with that bright, warm flame of the HCCO spirit.
