Choice, Sacrifice and Destiny

Life is about conscious choices; the everyday decisions that alter the course of one's life no matter how insignificant the change is. And herein lies the origin of all heroes, for they are not born but made by choice, be it voluntary or involuntary.

Heroes are not extraordinary people, it is only their heroic acts that make them appear extraordinary. In fact, it does not take extraordinary acts for one to be a hero.

Or even extraordinary powers and abilities.

One need not have the ability fly or possess superhuman strength to be a hero; one just needs to have courage, a sense of duty, compassion and above all self-sacrifice.

Heroes are just ordinary men placed in extraordinary circumstances.

But even heroes cannot do it alone; even heroes need to be saved by others sometimes, much less to say ordinary people. No matter what we do, no matter how hard we try, we will always find ourselves in need of being saved by another.

There is no point living a half-empty life.
