Just what is it with hazing the groom when he goes to fetch the bride on the wedding day? Watching the video of that of my colleague's husband at their wedding dinner, I was very much irked by what they made him do, which I shall not describe lest anyone has any 'clever' ideas.
"Fun" it may be to others. "Fun" it may be for some grooms. Funny it is NOT for me.
Go ahead. Call me an 'unsporting person' or whatever. The rule of thumb is: "Do unto others what you want others to do unto you."
For brides who wish to differ, go volunteer to go through the same thing. Fun indeed.
Whoever came up with this 'tradition' ought to be [redacted].
